Skiing on the Stelvio Pass in Summer

Summer Skiing Italy
Among its more famous symbols there are with any doubt the Alpine Ibex that populate its famous national park and the many difficult hairpin bends on which the cycling champions are challenged, but the mountain of Stelvio became more and more also a ski paradise.
Best known to welcome important cycling races and for its typical flora and fauna, this important mountain between Lombardia and Alto Adige welcomes in fact an important ski area, with 20 kilometres of ski-runs opened for seven months every year.
On the Stelvio ski area it’s possible to ski the whole summer long: a real godsend for people who love this typically winter sport.
The glacier of the Stelvio represents the bigger summer ski area of whole Alps. From May till November, you can ski on the Stelvio in a beautiful landscape like those of Ortles and Cevedale mountains. Nature, sport, walking in the national park and now also summer ski paradise. To ski on the Stelvio is the ideal for who want to have fun on the snow even in the summer: here, among the 2.758 meters of Stelvio Pass and 3.450 meters of Cristallo Mount, the Cristallo Hotel in Bormio waits for you… snow never misses.
